Chelsea last won the Premier League title back in 2017. They finished 6th in the 2023/24 season under Mauricio Pochettino.
Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca has confirm the club are planning to make further signings in the January transfer window as they look to challenge for the Premier League title again.
The Blues have become one of the most expensive clubs in Europe, spending £219m on new players in the last transfer window and have already invested more than £1bn since 2022. However, Maresca believes the club are not ready to compete with Manchester City and Arsenal, the two teams competing for the title this season.
